Ekaterina Donska — Visionary Surrealist
"Art is the bridge between the visible and the invisible, where geometry meets dreams and consciousness finds its form."
Ekaterina Donska
About the Artist
Munich-based contemporary artist, born in Weimar and raised across Eastern Europe. With a background in psychology, she transforms invisible inner processes into powerful oil paintings: eyes that follow the movement of thought, spirals instead of hair, fragmented faces that look back and quietly ask “who is watching whom?”.
Her ongoing series “Faces You’ll Recognize Yourself Later”, “FluidMind”, “Watchers” and “Signs We Never Choose” create conceptual spaces where perception, identity, memory and symbolic geometry meet — inviting viewers to encounter parts of themselves they didn’t know were watching.
Works in private collections throughout Europe, the United States, Israel, Denmark and Eastern European cultural regions. Exhibited at the international contemporary art fair ARTe Wiesbaden.
